Olga Thomas is known as the ‘royal composer’ for writing musical gifts for the British royal family as well as her work with charities such as the Cruse Bereavement Care. Three of her compositions have gone to No.1 in the charts including, Royal Platinum Love Song, By My Side, and Flowers on the Doorstep.

To commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s Jubilee celebrations Olga has written a new composition entitled, “The Four British Nations” which will be released Thursday, April 21st as part of the 2-track single “EIIR, The Platinum Record, A Jubilee Anthem.” She describes “The Four British Nations” as being, “a classical piece in a style of I would say Pomp and Circumstance theme.” The idea was to recreate memories of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation and for this Thomas contributed lyrics.  “Thomas had a very clear idea of what he wanted. And I must say that it was very easy for me to understand because we were thinking alike.”

The Daily Express  has featured EIIR: The Platinum Record, A Jubilee Anthem stating, QUEEN ELIZABETH II is to receive a very special gift to commemorate her historic 70 years on the British throne, that will “unite all of us”. It has now been announced that a commemorative record will be released to mark the momentous event on the British sovereign’s 96th birthday in April. EIIR: The Platinum Record features the famous soprano Lesley Garrett nd West End baritone star Rodney Earl Clarke, along with the London Community Gospel Choir.
